Formal Dances
We start the year with a formal cotillion, with boys in coat and tie and girls wearing white gloves with their dresses. This sets the tone for the year, where we emphasize social etiquette and ballroom dance steps. Although the attire is formal, the music is lively and current. The “Holly Ball” cotillion in December is our most formal night where the parents are invited. The last formal of the cotillion year is our “Valentines formal” in February.
